Where is Imsouane?
Imsouane is a small fishing village between Essaouira and Agadir. It is calm, welcoming, and far less crowded than Taghazout.
Why is Imsouane good for surfing?
The Bay has one of Africa's longest waves (around 800 metres), perfect for beginners, kids, and families. Cathedral Point is for intermediate and advanced surfers, with quieter local spots nearby.
When is the best time to surf in Imsouane?
September to April brings the best waves. June to August is small, sunny, and ideal for learning. You can surf here all year.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No. We provide the board, wetsuit, and leash. Bring your swimsuit and sunscreen.
What surf lessons do you offer?
We welcome every level: beginners in The Bay, and intermediate and advanced surfers in Cathedral Point and hidden spots. Shared lessons are 2 hours for up to 4 people; private lessons are 2 hours one-to-one; family lessons bring parents and kids together; kids lessons start from age 5.
Who are your surf instructors?
Our instructors are certified by the Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation. They are local surfers who speak English, French, and Arabic and are patient with every level.
Is there a discount if I book multiple sessions?
Yes. We offer a good discount when you book three sessions or more. Message us on WhatsApp for a package price.
I have never surfed before, can I join?
Absolutely. Around 70% of our guests are first-timers, and most people stand up during their first lesson.
What is surfskate and why should I try it?
Surfskate is a skateboard that feels like a surfboard. It lets you train on land and improve your balance and turns faster.
Do you offer surfskate for beginners?
Yes, for all levels. Beginners use a flat, safe spot; advanced surfers can work on cutbacks and snaps.
What is the Sandboarding Experience?
Surf down the big desert dunes near Imsouane, like snowboarding on sand. No experience is needed and sunset is amazing. Transport, sandboard, tea and biscuits, bonfire, and photos or videos are included.
Tell me about your 3-night surf trip to hidden spots in the South?
We explore wild spots such as Mirleft, Legzira, and Sidi Ifni with intermediate and advanced surfers. Transport from Imsouane, 3 nights accommodation, 3 meals per day, daily surf guiding, boards, and wetsuits are included.
What is the day trip to Taghazout Skatepark?
A full day with a morning surf in Taghazout and an afternoon skate session at the famous ocean-view skatepark.
